I did a lot of writing today. All morning, most of the afternoon, some of the evening. (Yeah, I was getting tired and distracted at the end there) I'm mostly working on things for class, like essay assignments. Its a little hard to write about neurogenetics or neuroepigenetics when you aren't really sure anyone calls the fields by those names and when the subject is so new that there is barely any research and barely any of those papers that
are out that are comprehensible or conclusive in some basic principles. There is quite a lot of hopeful science fiction that can be made up, but that is all speculation as yet…
The best part of my wanderings today (of which there was one foray, so I'm not sure it counts) was the Clare Fellows Garden.
Finally it was open to the public today. There was a Red Cross benefit tea going on for a few hours that allowed everyone access, so Hannah and I brought our laptops in to write. I'm really happy I got to go in because I have wanted to all week and I think today will have been my last chance.
Anyways, I took pictures so that you could see the garden- any description I could make would be pitiful in comparison. Enjoy!

If the only thing in your field is brand new papers, speculating on what the field might contain, your in a GOOD field! Lots of room for DISCOVERY!
ReplyDeleteDon't look now but I think that's the ghost of Nancy Reagan behind you at the entrance!
